Personal training around an injury

  • Personal training by a doctor of physical therapy tailored around a previous injury to promote proper healing and strengthen weak areas.​

  • 1 on 1 training with me anywhere from 1-3 days a week based on need and preference.​

Injury prevention program for athletes

Offseason or inseason injury prevention program for athletes. Initial full body assessment and movement system screening will be conducted and research driven exercises will be created by a doctor of physical therapy based on the initial assessment on areas of weakness with a combination of flexibility, strengthening, power, and endurance to help prevent injuries during sport season.

 

Sport specific and research driven programs are created by a doctor of physical therapy. Sessions can be 1 on 1 or programs can be created for the athlete to do workouts on their own. Gym memberships are included with pricing.

Injury prevention program for non-athlete

From young to the aging population, preventing injuries can save thousands of dollars. From being an orthopedic doctor of physical therapy I have encountered numerous occasions where injuries could have been prevented if an injury prevention program would have been implemented.

 

This program is a research driven and individualized plan based on the initial movement screen conducted by a doctor of physical therapy.

 

The program is created to promote individualized strengthening and flexibility to help prevent joint and musculoskeletal injuries such as joint replacements, muscle strains/tears, and low back injuries. This type of program is to give you a healthier, more active lifestyle to avoid future injuries.

Sports performance

Individualized sport specific training to improve mechanics and positional skills. Currently offering throwing mechanics and throwing speed enhancement training, baseball arm care programs, football kicker/punter training, runner’s speed and endurance training, distance runner’s program. Contact me for specifics on what you are looking for.​​​

Recovery Day

Recovery Day includes modalities such as red light therapy, dry needling, cupping, deep or soft tissue massage, instrument assisted tissue mobilizations, electric stimulation, joint mobilizations, and stretching.

Best for any athlete after a hard week of games or practice. Available for non-athletes as well.
